RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
My research interests concern the perception, function and application of music, especially within various special populations (pregnancy, marginalised communities) and across different cultural and clinical contexts. I have conducted, presented and published research in music psychology, music perception, social psychology of music, music therapy, music and health and global health.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
My teaching and supervision style are informed by my volunteer work with students with learning differences and other challenges. I aim to encourage students to be curious, offering a variety of resources (books, articles, podcasts and videos), to allow students to find connections and discover what interests them. I also create diverse content encouraging students to think beyond their own culture and realm of understanding.
